Active Support Case Managers maintain weekly
contact with the Senior Partner during the first three months
of the Partnership; bi-weekly contact for the remaining nine
months of the Partnership. Case Managers regularly contact
the Junior Partner and his/her family. Case Managers

| Monthly Group Activities
Recreational activities provide Partnerships with the opportunity
to interact in a positive environment, develop appropriate social
skills, bond with their Partners, meet other Partnerships and
have high energy fun in a drug-free, safe environment! Activities
vary monthly -- camping trips, softball, ice skating, special
holiday parties, and game nights are just a few examples. Bi-monthly

page on this site give all the details. |

Monthly Life
Skills Workshops
Each workshop focuses on a topic that will provide Junior Partners
with important information necessary for handling contemporary
life issues. Senior Partners use Life Skills trainings to role
model and reinforce the skills presented in each workshop to
their Junior Partners. Life skills vary monthly -- past topics
have included drug and alcohol prevention, personal hygiene,
time management, job readiness and teen sexuality. Life Skills
training are age-appropriate and presented in a comfortable,
nurturing environment. |

Additional Program Components
Senior Partners have opportunities to interact on a monthly
basis--luncheons and additional training provide peer support,
advice, motivation and social opportunities in an adult setting.
Health Services to Junior Partners are referred to local health
care professionals and pro bono services are rendered if possible.
Discounts at area restaurants and recreation centers are available
to Partnerships to provide social opportunities at a reduced
cost.
